Announcing Fall Mini-Sessions
Fall Mini-Sessions will be held on October 29-30 at the outdoor location pictured below. Christmas cards will be offered with these sessions. Christmas is right around the corner! Wouldn't it be great to mark Christmas cards off your to-do list??
I will be using the "railroad couch" as a prop, but will also have a few other props to accommodate Christmas attire if you choose to go with a more traditional look.
The cost of the Fall Mini-Session will be $50. This includes the sitting fee, online gallery of proofs, and 4 x 6 copies of all proofs.
Christmas Cards:
$45 (includes set up fee and 25 cards)
.90 per each additional card
Christmas card samples will be posted soon!
**15% off all print orders if placed within 2 weeks of viewing proof

Tuscaloosa Magazine's How To Section
Trisha Conyers used some of my photos to demonstrate a great how to article in the latest issue of Tuscaloosa Magazine. I worked with her on selecting and cropping the photos from one of my sessions to make a wall size collage.
Trisha also used a photo of a tree taken by her son to demonstrate the same kind of look.
Pick up a copy of the magazine to read Trisha's step by step process on how to make your own wall collage. If you aren't a DIY kind of person, contact me and I can order gallery wrapped canvas prints from your session in various sizes to create a wall collage for you! :)

A Maternity Session Like No Other
This post is not easy. My words aren't flowing easily. I keep thinking about this couple, this difficult road they've traveled, and what lies ahead. They are experiencing something no one should have to. Their baby girl, Mercy Catherine, has been diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and a severe brain disorder called holoprosencephaly. Her mother said Mercy Catherine could be stillborn, live a few hours, or a few days.
Mom found me through mutual friends that I am a volunteer photographer with the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation (http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/). The focus of this foundation is to help parents who are suffering the loss of a child by providing the gift of beautiful portraits. This service is completely free to the parents.
Mercy Catherine is due in March. When she arrives I will be there to tenderly honor her precious life.
Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for an easy delivery, strength and comfort for mom and dad, understanding for Mercy's big brothers, for healing, and for peace.
