Mom Told Me Avery Was a Water Baby!!

This evening I got to see little Avery again. The last time I took his pics he had brown hair! We decided to do this session at The University of Alabama's President's Mansion. Mom had requested that we not do the session next to the river because Avery is such a water baby. So where do I take them---to the back of The President's Mansion where there is this fountain! And, yep, he's definitely a water baby!! Avery climbed right into the fountain and started splashing around with the BIGGEST grin I have ever seen! I was shooting away when I noticed someone standing behind me and mom. I turned to see none other than President Witt himself!!!!! My mouth dropped, mom's mouth dropped, and Avery continued to swim in President Witt's fountain!! President Witt finally said, "He's enjoying himself." We just shook our heads in agreement. We were speechless. I really thought he was going to ask us to leave, but there was no way I was going to miss getting these shots!! The President finally walked to his car and left. Whew!!! Mom got Avery out and dried him off, but Avery was not happy about leaving the water! Avery was just too cute in that fountain--I was lovin'it! Oh, and this happened at the beginning of the session and we still had outfit number 2!

Avery was a ball of energy and a joy to shoot! He was a HOOT!! Thanks, mom for hanging in there. I did get some great shots and hope to have the proofs on the website soon. Here's a little peak of what I got.

Here's Bryant!

Saturday I got to meet Bryant, who is a precious and rambunctious 2 year old! He's such a cutie! We met at the UA Arboretum on Saturday morning for this session and mom, grandmom, and I had a hot, but fun time keeping Bryant entertained. No worries mom, I got some great shots of your sweetie!

He's just pretty!

This is Park and he's two years old. I know mom may not appreciate me calling him pretty, but that is the best way to describe little Park! These pictures were taken early this morning when we thought it might be a bit cooler. Boy, were we wrong! Me, mom, and grandmom almost suffered heat strokes! It was worth the heat, though, to get these great pics of Park! :)

Isn't she a beauty?

I had the pleasure of taking Haven's pictures again, and this time I was able to do them at her house using natural light. I can assure you Haven is as sweet as she looks! Thanks mom, dad, and grandmom for welcoming me into your home.

What a cutie pie!

Braiden has grown so much since his last pictures! Braiden is now 9 months old and every bit of a sweetheart! He came for his photo session with mom, dad, brother-Brennon, and sister-Madilyn. At the end I was able to get a nice shot of all three children for mom and dad. It was great to see you all!

Emma Katherine's Tea Party

Ms. Emma Katherine celebrated her 8th birthday with a tea party. Emma Katherine's grandmother started buying her fine China when Emma was just a baby. Every year grandmother adds to the collection! What better way to celebrate her birthday than with a tea party using some of the wonderful China pieces. Here are a few pictures from Emma's party.

Thanks Jennifer for letting me be a part of this special day. :)

Hopefully, I will be able to keep this up-to-date, for many of you know I have a family blog (www.lawsonpartyoffive.blogspot.com), as well. I hope you enjoy the pictures, as much as I enjoy taking them! :)
