Precious Clayton

This evening I got to meet this little bundle of joy! Isn't he the most precious thing?!?! Clayton was bit of a challenge, but I still got some great shots of him. And mom and dad, I don't mind challenging at all!! It just makes it more interesting and more rewarding, especially when I get adorable pictures like these!! I am looking forward to seeing you again, baby Clayton!!

Mommy and Me

Ok, this mom and I go way back!! We have been good friends for a long time. When I think of Amanda, I think of band practice, her wedding, and the births of her three beautiful babies!! Yesterday, Amanda came in for some pictures of little Evan and some mommy pics. Evan is the youngest and it seems just like yesterday that I was taking his pictures when he was only 6 weeks old. This was my first time to take Aiden and Allee's pictures. Aiden was so funny. I asked him if he would come work with me and he said, "Ok, but I'm not sure when." And pretty little Allee. She has a mind of her own! Oh, and one more thing--When Aiden was born I gave him this little frog snuggly and now Evan loves to snuggle with it!! That melts my heart! I had a great time, Amanda! Thanks for letting me be a part of this special memory!!

I'm Back And So Is John Michael

I am back on the blog after spending some time with my sweet husband to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I enjoyed our cruise and came back rested and ready to get back to work! Remember almost two weeks ago when I introduced John Michael?? Since John Michael wasn't feeling well that day, we did a second take this evening. John Michael felt so much better and was the happiest little guy so I got some great shots of him and even a few with his brother, Samuel. Mom and dad, hope you like this sneak peak!

"Allie Best Fwiend"

Guess your wondering about that title, huh? Well, this blue-eyed beauty is the best friend of my little man! John Brady claimed Allie as his "best fwiend" a long time ago. Allie's mom, aka "The Fluffer", is a best friend of mine. I drag Allie's mom to all of my weddings and she "fluffs"the bridal gowns for me! Ok, she does a lot more than that, but I think it's a cute nickname. Allie is just the sweetest little girl! She ALWAYS has a hug and a kiss for me and Brady. Occasionally, we've caught Allie laying one on John Brady and he on her, as well!! Allie and John Brady are just the cutest little twosome!! I think mom and Allie are too!! Just look at these pics!!

Here's John Michael

This little guy is the spitting image of his big brother!! I know it's hard to tell by this photo, but John Michael has beautiful red hair and he's got the most squeezable thighs! You know the kind of thighs you just can't help but squeeze!! Something else you probably can't tell from these pics is this little guy was a tad under the weather and didn't feel up to being in one spot. John Michael just wasn't his usual self today, so we are going take up where we left off today by spending some time outdoors in a couple of weeks to finish our session. So look for more images of this sweet guy in the near future!! Sorry, mom, things didn't go as expected, but I hope you like these sweet images of your adorable baby boy! Sweet and Dainty Ava Grace

Remember Colin from last week?? Well, this beauty is his cousin! And they were born 3 days apart! Meme, with daughters giving birth within days, I bet you did a lot of traveling back and forth!! Time well spent, I must say. Ava Grace was a ray of sunshine and a treat to photograph. And a talker, too! Ava Grace had many things to say today, even if it was to the flower, the Bama shaker, and the megaphone! Yep, she seemed delighted to play with those things and thought she should tell them about it! It was too cute! :)

An Old Friend

This pretty mama is an old friend of mine and I had the pleasure of taking her family pictures today. Kristi and I attended elementary school and high school together, and I even remember her spending the night with me when we were just little girls! And guess what? We are now neighbors! WOW! And just look at her beautiful family! Her youngest, Noah, is 3 months old and he is such a cutie! She also has a gorgeous step daughter, Madison and a beautiful 2 year old, Sam. And, of course, there's dad who is super, super nice. I just love getting back in touch with old friends! Thank you, Kristi, for letting me photograph your sweet family! I enjoyed it so much!! :)

Daddy's Girl

I started photographing this sweet little one when she was only a couple of months old and now Miss Maddie Klaire is a year old. Mom wanted some pics with her daddy so that is just what we did! Did you notice her precious gold bracelet? Well, let me tell you, Maddie Klaire also was wearing a ring and an add-a-pearl necklace. Daddy, this one is gonna break the bank!! Just get ready!! Maddie has two older brothers, but she is all girl. Maddie Klaire, you are precious, absolutely precious!

These Blue Eyes Will Melt Your Heart!!

The bright blue eyes, the red hair, a Bama fan. What a gorgeous combination! Isn't little Colin a cutie pie? I first his mom at a Halloween party several years back. She was dressed as "Annie". So now you know where Colin got his red hair! Colin was a joy to photograph and mom and meme were so helpful. We battled the mosquitos and the yellow jackets, and Colin's meme even got stung! The stings and bites didn't get us down! Armed with a determined photographer, mom and meme, Colin's photo session was saved! I enjoyed every minute!! Thanks a ton Colin, mom, and meme!!

Meet my new friend, Eli

I made a sweet new friend named Eli today. He and I became fast buddies and he even came up with some great photo ideas. Eli was very interested in photography and insisted on seeing each picture after it was taken. Of course I didn't mind showing him because he gave me lots of compliments with each picture I showed him!! Thanks, Eli! You were a lot of fun and you made my job easy!

Beautiful Brothers

This evening I got to meet Bennett and his big brother Braden for Bennett's 3 month portraits. After Braden's part in the session and after he showed me his "muscles" a few times, Braden and his dad played in our backyard until I finished Bennett's pics. Lucky, our Beagle-mix, was so happy to have Braden's company! :) And Bennett, well, he was just the perfect client. Aren't those big brown eyes captivating? Thanks little guys for a great photo session!!
